What is Sailtunities?

Robotic boats for environmental research

With the European Green Deal calling for climate-neutral solutions by 2050, addressing water pollution requires innovative STEAM approaches. The Sailtunities project developed a methodology where teams of 13–19 year old students construct and operate radio-controlled boats to collect water quality data.

The project delivers a multidisciplinary, hands-on approach that strengthens STEAM competencies while educating students and teachers about sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
