The second transnational partner meeting of the #sailtunities project took place in Botosani, Romania, on 15-16 May, 2024. The meeting was hosted by one of the project partners, Colegiul Tehnic Gheorghe Asachi Botoșani.
It was attended by representatives of the project coordinator “Robotikos Mokykla“ and project partners Vilnius Joachim Lelevelis Engineering Gymnasium (Lithuania), Kuressaare Nooruse Kool (Estonia), and Colegiul Tehnic “Gheorghe Asachi” Botosani (Romania).
The meeting was attended by 10 members from the administrative and teaching staff of partner organizations.
The main goal of this meeting was to present the progress and results achieved by project partners in the latest period of the project and to plan the upcoming activities.
The meeting started with the introduction of meeting participants, overview of the agenda and the meeting goals, as well as an overview of the project plan and the use of the budget. We continued with the presentations from partners about the progress made with the lesson materials. Partners presented lesson materials, presentations and other visual materials from the experimenting phase. Afterwards, we planned the next steps in the development of lesson materials. Later on, time was set aside to present each organization’s insights and suggestions for the dissemination and stakeholder involvement activities.
On the second day, partners discussed the preparation for piloting and the upcoming teacher training in Estonia. We made a preliminary plan of the agenda, the facilitators and the participants. We discussed how we could increase the project‘s impact through a variety of local organizations and informational partners.
Our hosts invited us on a walking tour around Botosani and learning about the famous Romanian personalities born in this town.
